City Council

City Council meetings are held the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month and begin at 6 pm. Special Called meetings, Workshops and/or Public Hearings are scheduled as necessary, with the approval of the Mayor.

Agendas are posted on the front door of City Hall 72 hours prior to the meeting(s). Copies of the agendas are available online.

Agenda Item Request Form

To be placed on the agenda, an agenda item request must be submitted. Per City Charter "Any interested party may request, in writing, for an item that falls within the City's legal jurisdiction to be placed on the agenda, with a Councilmember's or the City Manager's sponsorship".  Agenda Item Request Forms are available at City Hall. The completed form with your name, address, telephone number, fax number if available, and specific request and action needed. Agenda items shall be scheduled as-soon as possible by the Mayor or City Manager but no later than thirty days from the date of the written request, per Ordinance 1096.
