Bay City Parks & Recreation takes pride in creating and preserving outdoor spaces. The Department oversees the maintenance and operations of 26 parks and facilities throughout the City that encompass 280 acres including:

  • 10 pavilions
  • 1 splash pad
  • 7 playgrounds
  • 1 campground with boat ramp/beach area on the Colorado River
  • 1942 USO Building
  • 1905 MOPAC Train Depot
  • 1907 Gazebo
  • 3 pickleball courts
  • 11 baseball/softball fields
  • 15 soccer fields
  • 1 football field
  • 1 skate park
  • 1 dog park
  • 1 bike park
  • 1 sand volleyball court
  • 24-hole Disc Golf Course
  • Corn hole/horseshoe pits
  • 5 basketball courts
  • 3 miles of trails

 

Additionally, Bay City Parks & Recreation provides opportunities for positive experiences and personal growth by providing a wide variety of recreation opportunities for youth and adults in the areas of athletics, aquatics, instructional programs, specials events and senior adult activities.
