Billing

Water and sewer billing is based on the meter size and the amount of demanded water measured by the water meter from the water main to the customer’s location.   Residential account sewer cost is capped at 15,000 gallons.  Sanitation is a contract cost based on the required code enforcement need of the location.   

The City reviews the rates annually.  Rates are impacted by costs from the water and sewer infrastructure, maintenance, and sustainability of State level services. 

Out-of-town accounts are billed 1.5 times the water and sewer rate, and 1.75 times the sanitation rate.
