Should you need to transfer your services within the City limits of Bay City, your deposit, outstanding balance, and final bill will be transferred to the new property. The City assesses a $15 Connection Fee to the first bill.
The City allows up to (14) calendar days between disconnection date at former location and start service date at new location.
Requirements:
- Each applicant and co-applicant are required to provide a current United States government-issued photo ID. (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport, Identification Card)
- Rental/Lease Agreement or completed Property Owner Form with the property owner’s current United States government-issued photo ID. (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport, Identification Card) and Matagorda County Appraisal report matching the property owner.
OR
- Purchased Property - Title company closing papers illustrating the matching name(s) on current government-issued photo ID or Montgomery County Appraisal report.
