We’re sorry to see you go! The City of Bay City will disconnect your service from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends or holidays. Same day service is applicable upon request for completed disconnect forms received by 1:00 PM. Each applicant and co-applicant are required to provide a United States current government-issued photo ID. (i.e. Driver’s License, Passport, Identification Card)
The City calculates your final bill by obtaining a meter reading on your disconnect date. The City bills the usage difference between the last billed meter reading and the disconnect date meter reading. Your deposit is applied as a credit to the billed services amount to create your final bill.
Should your current bill not be paid at the time of disconnection, the current bill plus applicable fee(s) will be applied to the final bill.

The City permits temporary disconnecting services for customer repairs, out-of-town residents, or other customer needs. By temporarily disconnecting the services, the account will continue to be billed.
