Hiring/Sign-on Bonus Program:
Bay City Police Department is now offering licensed peace officers a hiring/sign-on bonus. Upon successful completion of a six-month field training program, officers will receive a $5,000 bonus. This bonus is eligible to all certified Officers. The Officers would be required to reimburse the city if they leave the department within 2 years.
Cadet Program:
This is our newest program. Bay City Police Department will pay you a competitive hourly wage to attend the Police Academy. GET PAID WHILE YOU ATTEND THE POLICE ACADEMY. Recipients of this program must meet all city and BCPD hiring requirements. The positions are limited.
