Building Permits
Our permit application allows for all trades to utilize one form to make it easier for builders, contractors, business owners, and homeowners.
For all new residential or commercial construction projects, we have included the packets below to give information on the permitting process, as well as what documents will be required, and what inspections will need to be completed.
Contractor Registration
It is required for all contractors to register prior to the first time they pull permits with us to protect homeowners from potential problems. This form is submitted online using the link below. Once you have registered, you won’t have to worry about it again unless information on your Contractor Registration Form changes.

This includes enforcing ordinances related to health, safety, and property maintenance. Cooperation from the community and its residents is appreciated when it comes to keeping Bay City clean, safe, and beautiful!
